Before we head out

Fair questions.
Straight answers.

Aho is still being built. Here’s what’s planned, and what we’re still working out.

What exactly is Aho?

Aho is a personal errands app being built in Egypt. You describe what you need, add your stops, and one Dude handles the whole trip and brings everything back together.

Can I use Aho yet?

Not yet. Aho is in development and is getting ready for Maadi, Cairo. The website does not take bookings, payments or orders.

What does و have to do with it?

Aho is written أهو in Arabic, and it ends in و. In Arabic, و means “and”: bakery and supermarket and laundry. That is the whole idea, in one letter.

How many stops can I add?

The first version is planned for up to three stops in one mission, followed by your home. You add your stops before sending the mission.

Can I choose my own shops?

Yes, that’s the idea. Name a specific shop or let your Dude pick a nearby one. Aho is built around your requests, not a catalogue. Supported categories and the service area will be confirmed before launch.

Who is my Dude?

Your Dude is the person who handles your mission from the first stop to your door. Aho matches you automatically; choosing a Dude from a list isn’t part of the first version.

What if something is missing or costs more?

Your Dude asks you about a substitution, or asks for your approval before going over a stop’s spending limit. Your Dude should ask, not guess.

How much will a mission cost?

Pricing and payment details will be published before launch. The app is designed to show you the mission price before you send it.

How do I become a Dude?

We’re preparing the Dude role for Maadi. Applications aren’t open yet. Requirements, onboarding and payment terms will be shared before recruitment opens.

Be first in Maadi.

Aho will open by invitation. Write to us with your neighbourhood and the errands you’d send together, and we’ll let you know when invitations open.

This opens your email app. The website itself collects nothing. Or write to social@useaho.com.
